Idaho’s 2016 spring steelhead season opened January 1. To fish, anglers will need a 2016 Idaho fishing license and steelhead permit.
Designated spring season steelhead fishing areas are located along the Salmon, Little Salmon, Snake, Clearwater, North Fork Clearwater, South Fork Clearwater, and Boise rivers.
